Volunteers Needed
Hello All!
Thank you so much for my two volunteers that have signed up so far! I am still in need to two volunteers to help work some stations for the Ancient Civilization Festival on April 5th. If you are able to volunteer your time in the morning, there will be a delicious meal waiting for you at the head table.

Ancient Civilization Festival
Hello All!
The students are super excited about the Ancient Civilization Festival.
I thought I would post some pictures from last year to show some of the events we participated in.
We have 6 centers and an amazing meal.
The students always learn so much, have a great time and LOVE the food.
We are still looking for many volunteers.
Please let me know if you are able to help out.
Thank you!!

Mineral Reports
On Monday and Wednesday this week, we will be working on Mineral reports in class to explore the various characteristics of a particular mineral. Because we may only be able to get enough iPads for the classes to share with partners, if students are interested in bringing one from home that I can keep safely in my room until we use them, they are welcome to. Thank you.

Rocks and Minerals
So far, getting a lot of excitement about our new Science Unit. We have begun our study of Rocks, Minerals, Erosion, Fossils...why these are important and how human activity can alter what we have. When their grade 3 classmates are at swim to survive, the grade 4s will be spending their mornings with me....I have added these dates to the upcoming and important. We will be doing experiments on these days and an assessment on the last one. As always, feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thank you

Landforms Test on Thursday
We did a thorough review of our unit today and I passed along many hints and question ideas for the test tomorrow. Some students seemed really confident and actively participated in the review....some would benefit from some additional time with their duotangs to boost their confidence in a few areas. Thank you.
